A Pocket Guide – Books for Digital Marketers

Recently, I have finished reading two books from the series “A Pocket Guide” by Five Simple Steps. One of them is “Psychology for Designers” by Joe Leech and the other one “The Craft of Words” by The Standartistas. Both of them were exactly what I was looking for years.

The two books are short guides on how to approach copy-writing and design should you be a digital marketer, designer or maintaining your own digital presence. They are short. In fact, one can read them within an hour each. The hard part comes later. But this is because they are packed with resources – the kind that will lead you to deep diving in both topics.

Psychology  and Writing are something that I am very much interested in. I asked friends and peers on numerous occasions for books and other reading materials that will improve my understanding and practice, even my blogging. And with “Psychology for Designers” by Joe Leech and the other one “The Craft of Words” by The Standartistas I got my guides, my directions. Now all I need is to focus on these resources and revisit the guides from time to time.
