Today, March 17, 2011 marks the culmination of an amazing social effort. The music project Enigma, its mastermind Michael Cretu and thousands of fans from all over the globe created a song together and an official video. The song was named “MMX (The Social Song).

After a successful 20th anniversary celebration with the fans, Enigma is launching a second event in continuation with the previous one. Based on the MMX (The Social Song), Enigma and its mastermind Michael Cretu will continue their social effort with the creation of a video for the track.

After three months of collaboration with the fans Enigma’s social song “MMX (Social Song)” is out. And it is not only the song, but also a user generated cover and a digital booklet. Pretty cool, ah?

Enigma’s Social Song Stage II has started today. There are already 276 votes and counting – only 6 hours after the 3 musical version Michael Cretu has created were released.

Last week on Monday, November 2, 2010 was the day that voting for the best vocal submission on Enigma’s Social Song contest ended. There has been great turn up full of passion, novelty and high spirit. People from virtually every continent (except the scientists further down South) were either singing of giving their preferences on what they like best. And one can only hope that the next two stages will attract just as much joy and participation.
